Intaky vs Content Snare

Intaky vs Content Snare: which client document collection tool fits your practice?

Both send a client one link with a checklist of questions and uploads, chase them with reminders and let you approve or reject what comes in. The difference is mostly in how you pay, how many of your team can use it, and how a company with several directors is handled.

The short answer

Choose Content Snare if you need e-signatures, SMS reminders, built-in KYC and AML screening, or Zapier and other native integrations. It is the more established product, with more features around the request itself.

Choose Intaky if your whole team needs access without paying per seat, if you take in a steady flow of new clients each month rather than a few long-running requests, or if your clients are companies where each director has to supply their own ID.

What it costs

The two price on different things. Content Snare counts requests open at the same time, so a request that sits for months keeps using a slot. Intaky counts applications started in the month, and an open case does not use up next month's allowance. A practice onboarding 40 clients a month who each take a few weeks would need Content Snare's Plus plan ($85/month, 50 active requests, 5 users) or Intaky's Starter plan ($49/month, 50 new applications, unlimited team members).

Intaky’s plans: Trial free for 14 days (15 new applications, 2 GB), Starter $49 a month (50, 10 GB), Growth $149 (250, 50 GB) and Scale $399 (1,000, 200 GB). Every plan has the whole product and unlimited team members. See pricing.

Content Snare is the better choice when

  • You want the client to sign an engagement letter in the same place they upload documents.
  • You need SMS reminders, not just email.
  • You want AML or KYC screening run inside the tool.
  • You rely on Zapier or a native integration to move files into your practice software.

Intaky is the better choice when

  • More than two or three people on your team review clients, and you do not want to pay per seat.
  • Your clients are companies, and each director or owner has to supply their own proof of identity and address.
  • You want your own logo and colours on the client portal from the first plan.
  • You want accepted items locked, so a client can only change what you sent back.

Questions people ask

What is a good Content Snare alternative?

Intaky is a client intake and document collection tool built around the same idea: one link per client, a checklist of questions and uploads, automatic reminders and approve-or-reject review. It prices by new applications each month with unlimited team members, and has starter templates for 20 industries.

Is Intaky cheaper than Content Snare?

It depends on how you work. Intaky's Starter plan is $49 a month for 50 new applications with unlimited team members; Content Snare's Basic plan is $42 a month for 20 active requests and 2 users. If several people on your team need access or you onboard more than 20 clients at a time, Intaky usually costs less. Check both pricing pages, as prices change.

Does Intaky have e-signatures like Content Snare?

No. Intaky collects declarations and consents as part of the application, but it does not do document e-signing. If you need clients to sign an engagement letter, use a signing tool alongside it or choose Content Snare.

Can I collect ID from every director of a company with Intaky?

Yes. You invite each director or owner to the company's application by email. Each one fills in only their own identity section with their own documents, while the person managing the application answers the company questions and sees who has not finished.

Does Intaky send SMS reminders?

No, reminders are by email. They go out every few days until the client finishes, only during working hours in your timezone, and stop after six so a client who has gone quiet is not spammed.

Can I move my Content Snare templates to Intaky?

There is no import. Intaky starts you from an industry template that you edit in a form builder, so most firms pick the closest template and adjust it, which takes minutes rather than hours.
